    It's because the shadow is created from a light through your body. Your body blocked the light to pass through a certain area, then it created a shadow that's shaped like you. Dude, it's not just the bodies of people, but trees, buildings, clouds, everything that blocks the light makes a shadow.

    The shadow of others actually helps to cool down that hot Sun that's frying you like a toasted bread. The shadow can be your friend in cases like this. Also, Mirror doesn't block the light. Stop imaginating scary things.
