Thanks again Chris! I had a blast visiting your town ^_^ LOVED the drawing! I mentioned it elsewhere here but I'm hoping to get it displayed in my own home in ACNL if I can. I don't have enough experience to know how to throw it up on an easel but that's what I'd like to do ^_^

Yep, it's that easy! Why does this remind me of those horrible American TV shopping commercials, where everyone screws up the simplest things and then they're shown the solution to all their "problems" XD That was after your visit, hence the phrasing (next get-together). So, yep, new design~ promise me you'll wear it every now and then :D (don't worry, I'm sure it's something you'll enjoy)

You'd love our prescription drug commercials! Beautiful, flawless couple, frolicking along the beach with two perfect kids, a boy and a girl. Everyone in kayaki shorts and blue v-neck t-shirts. Now they're bike riding through the mountains. Now they're holding hands and twirling in a circle. This is all possible with our new medication for your venereal disease! *may cause death*

Wow... US advertisements will forever be a mystery to me. I'm not sure what's worse, American "Everyone is stupid"-ads or Japanese "What the heck did I just watch?!" ones. They're both unsettling, but on different levels. Maybe the whole scene's just a med-induced near-death experience? It sounds a bit too happy to me :X

At least the Japanese ones are entertaining xD Ours are just annoying. And frustrating. And raise a lot more questions than they answer. We even have meds to help deal with the side effects of other meds. Experiencing constipation from your pain meds? We have a medication for that too. You should be aware, however, that this med may cause cancer, seizures, and, in some cases, sudden death.

I haven't seen many US commercials, but I found them very over the top. It's like a video counterpart of using too many exclamation marks for emphasis *shudders* That doesn't sound like something people should be advertising oo''' "Health issues from taking meds? Here, take those, too!" Seriously, that's something you should consult a doctor for.

I always thought it was weird that a medication would need to be advertised at all. If I am struggling with a health related issue then I'll likely see a doctor about it who may recommend a medication to me if his training suggests it. These commercials urge people to go to their doctor and request a specific, brand name medication without a diagnosis. I think it's all about that money $_$

Over here there are commercials for them, too, but not for meds against other meds' side effects. And only for prescription free stuff. Pharmacy's a certain reputation for being money-driven, but I think this could digress a bit too much for this environment ^^' So, different stuff: I should be able to make it tomorrow after all :) in case you're still in for some gaming~

Cool! Normally it would be a guarantee but tomorrow is going to be a bit moment-by-moment because we are expecting the worst ice storm of the year (actually in the last 7 years). If it turns out to be ice I may be without power, etc., but if it turns out to be rain I should be okay. Whew!

Wow, everyone's having crazy weather lately XD we just had one of our (non-ice) storms, too with gale force winds and rain... and my personal weather correspondent from Britain reported blizzards and flooding. Blackouts are a pain, but I have to admit that I love stormy weather and wind. It's exciting, especially when you're outdoors! (Disclaimer: Kids? Don't. It's seriously dangerous.)
