What under appreciated videogame song would you like to hear a remix for? Easily one of the best Ice Level songs I've heard is Phantasy Star 4 Dezolis Field 1 not to be confused with it's more upbeat counterpart song. You hear Dezolis Field 1 when your spaceship lands on the frozen planet Dezolis and the song is best described as epic despair. It's hauntingly beautiful.

    The Metal Gear 2 track on the NES/MSX consoles called "Tears" is very under appreciated and has a very powerful tone for just a simple music chip of that era. Definitely in need of a modern tune-up.

    I'm listening to it right now. Yeah I agree that's a pretty epic classic chiptune that should get a modern update. I haven't played either of the old 2D Metal Gears, did you?

    I played both retro MG games through the Collector's Edition pack of the games a few years back. They aren't all that different from the PS1 MGS, but just different controls and all. Metal Gear 2 actually has one of my favorite stories throughout the entire series. The other music tracks are also pretty good too. Kinda sad other MG fans aren't too familiar with the retro MG games.

    well i've seen footage of the first and i know the gist of both stories. it'd be nice to play them one day but i got a pile of games i need to play and havent had much time yet
