    uhhmm, I have been through both alternative styles. Goth is actually a subculture. Many people stereotype it, but it dates back to victorian times. And has many different aspects. As for emo, it is a blanket term for almost all alt styles.

    Nope. An emo is someone who typically exaggerates situations. It's an adjective. Sometimes likes emo music. It is more of an insult. Being goth is mostly always (I said mostly.) just the style. They just like to see the darker side of things. (Tell me if I'm wrong!)
