Super Mario Maker

Well, it seems that there is no Super Mario Maker for Switch. Also, while I am at it, no Miiverse for Switch either. I thought it would be a ported title for the Switch, but I was wrong. Well, enjoy SMM while the Nintendo Network is up, folks. It could be possible this will not return. In the meantime, here is some levels I recently created. Enjoy! 4664-0000-02E2-A4D1 EEB5-0000-02E6-A45C

  • I sure hope Nintendo Network does not get discontinued, Otherwise I'll be very upset. Well, not all the games will come out at once, like Paper Mario Color Splash, it was a late title. It may come back to the system in the future, or maybe even a new Maker game like Super Mario Kart Maker.

  • I believe the service will be up to at least 2018. But, like with all their previous consoles featuring online features, the network will end. Now, it could be that they will release a port after the launch of Super Mario Odyssey, but I am not sure. (Also, not too excited that the network for Switch requires a subscription)

  • Also, in case you don't know, it sounds like they will be using the Nintendo Account feature instead of NNIDs. I personally glad they are using this more modern system.

  • Oh and if Super Mario Maker doesn't make it to the system, it actually may end up in thr Switch's Virtual Console. Many Wii games made it to the Eshop, so Mario Maker could make it.

  • How would they handle two screens?

  • Well, think of the DSI VRC games: Its easy.

  • I mean, with DS on Wii u, it is easy, but a 620p something size gamepad screen right next to a 720-1080p screen will not look good on the switch when in portable mode. I mean, it could work, but I don't think it will look good.
