I once wasted a masterball on a lvl2 Patrat and then proceeded to save. Now, before I'm yelled at, I'd like to say something. It was my first Pokemon game and I didn't know I couldn't get another masterball. As for the fact that it was on a lvl2 Patrat, I have no idea what compelled me to capture it. +I was 7.

    I caught a Skitty with a Masterball recently, for aesthetic purposes.. I never use the darn thing for legendaries anyway haha.

    Not your fault since you were 7 lol I remember running into a shiny Machoke in my Leafgreen version. I had no idea what it was (despite playing Gold version and seeing shiny Gyrados in it) but I caught it anyways. I then started a new game a few weeks later after not knowing still that I caught a shiny until it was faar too late. I was about hmm, at least 10 or so.
