The Fire Flowers in this stage will come in handy, as Big Bertha, the giant Cheep-Cheep, is still susceptible to fireballs, despite its size. The key to survival is utilizing the vines that pop up out of the bricks. Climbing all the way to the top will keep you out of the water when the stage sinks, and out of Bertha's reach. Plus, Mario can also spit fire while hanging. Cooked cod, anyone?

1. Fire Flower You can kill Boss Bass, a.k.a the Big Cheep Cheap with a fireball straight to his face. 2. P-Wing Simply fly over the whole level.
