After not going to sleep and watching youtube all day I finally slept about 4 hours. I'm trying to force my body to a day schedule while my body is trying to force me to a night schedule. So I'm tired all the time, ugh. BTW, if you haven't seen it, watch tape head, all shows, on america's got talent. That guy is funny. Anyway, on with the Harvestmoon 64 story. :) ↓↓↓↓

    With the tour over I returned to my farm to find someone waiting for me. He introduced himself as a buyer and told me he had worked closely with gramps in the past. He explained how the shipping process worked and how I would be paid for what I shipped. He told me how I could make a good income from gathering items on the mountian and from fishing as well as from what I can produce on my farm.

    It was a relief to learn that could make money from foraging since I wasn't able to make an income from my farm right now. The buyer really did know gramps because he knew what had been left for me in the house and he explianed how to make use of them. Then, being assured I understood everything, he took his leave after a friendly reminder to not over do anything and take it easy at first.

    I decided it was time to explore and decided to check out the ranch that the Mayor had pointed out to me earlier. When I entered I didn't see anyone but a horse standing alone in the field. I went over to look at him when suddenly a voice asked if I liked horses. I was startled and turned to see a girl with orange hair in a long braid looking at me. ↓↓↓↓

    I was so flustered that all I could say was yes to her question even though, being a city kid, I'd never even seen a real horse before. She seemed to be checking me out and then asked me if she could ask me a question. Then she ran off leaving me with my confused thoughts. She came back with a guy I learned was her brother as she chattered at him about me. ↓↓↓↓

    He didn't seem all that impressed with me but he must've agreed with his sister since he left to tell his father. The girl apoligized for her brother's rude behavior and told me about the local horse races. It seems she's hoping I'll enter. Her father lead a young horse up to me and ask if I could be responsible and race him when he was grown. ↓↓↓↓

    I agreed and the ranch owner left to bring the horse to my farm. While I waited for his return the girl asked what I'd name the horse. Well, he was a gift and you know the old saying to never look a gift horse in the mouth. So I named him Gift. The girl seemed to like the name and we made small talk until her father's return.↓↓↓

    The girl was a bit tomboyish but she was really cute and seemed nice. Especially when compared with her rude brother and as it turned out, just as rude father. I had entered the store to learn about livestock and prices and the owner started to laugh at me. He doesn't think I can make my farm prosper. He'll see. I'll work hard and show him. ↓↓↓

    Thanks David, I appreciate it. Don't worry though. It's normal for me as it's a part of my conditions. Also, staying up all night watching yuotube doesn't help. :p Of course that's my fault there. Btw, have you ever seen Harvestmoon the movie (trailer)? This was as if there was a real life movie coming out and it was amazing. I wish they had made one since their acting was so good for amateurs.

    That's too bad. I liked how it was real life and it was funny. I've been trying to find funny stuff on Harvestmoon but I'm not having much luck. I thought that with such a huge fan base there'd be lots of videos but I'm mostly finding playthroughs. I'd really like to see some fan based comics. :[
