Question about Shiny hunting

How long does mesuda method usually take? I know the odds (even with the shiny charm) are still less than 1% but it would be nice not hatching 1000 eggs... Anyways I just wanted to know if it usually takes as long as I think it will...

    There isn't a usual, it usually takes between 500-1,000 eggs, without the charm, for most of my hunts. Just including my hunts from this game, my longest without the charm did take me 1,400-something eggs.

    hard to say.... last night I hatched about 331 eggs to get my shiny Litten. before that, it was about 500 or so for a shiny Wimpod.

    all I can say is: patience is the key virtue when it comes to the Masuda method. if you start to get discouraged, just take a break from it. the eggs aren't going anywhere, right?

    My highest with the charm was 700, actually. x: The point of shinies is kind of for them to be rare.

    Well it depends i've gotten a shiny in 500 plus eggs and i've gotten a shiny on the first egg, its totally random.

    I think with charm its around 1 in 600-700 odds and eggs takes a few minutes to hatch all five
