    I agree with you 110%, AC. Ghosts 'N Goblins is one of those games I played when I was a kid and it was hard as jawbreakers. I did manage to beat this game which is hard in itself.

    Not trying to backseat here, but the "Get the Knife" meme associated with this game has reason. It is very effective at dispatching enemies. Oh, and when I saw this post I was actually listening to music from this game. More specifically, a crazy remix made for a Capcom 30th Anniversary album.
