This level drives me nuts. I know of some new high hit techniques, but I cancel out my lead everytime I end phase 1. I'll get par everytime!

You wouldn't mind a Star Fox Zero where multiplayer Arwing fights using up to 8 players. And Star Fox 1 and 2 on a physical game card for $30

this game is extremely difficult actually, maybe the Switch vesion will add an easy mode where you have higer HP and better targetting

I'm expecting more from star fox when it returns with multiplayer. Most people don't know how to play a Star Fox game, and the multiplayer hasn't reflected the game itself. It's very flat, with no depth. I would like them to make a multiplayer that incorporates star fox gameplay, without cutting out all techniques.

I don't find the game too difficult, but the game is balanced so you can't just use the same moves all the time. You have to combo moves in a insane variety.

It's unfair though, single player is drastically different from how you approach a combatant. I always thought a spin off multiplayer game would make sense. Instead of trying to split ideas.

oh cool, anyways I wouldn't mind, Multiplayer very much like Star Fox Assault, with only a few on-foot levels, competitive multiplayer, like 64 and Assault. Advenures can be remade later with a new outfit for Krystal that resembles Zelda's Link outit from Breath of the Wild.

I wouldn't claim 64 or assault to be competitive. It's just shooting each other with no masterful techniques. they're party games to me. I would like it to be more like Bayonetta 2 co-op. Or structured like pikmin 3 (not the gameplay of pikmin.) but the idea of using in-game gameplay in a multiplayer setting.

They really do need to fix people's perception on what kind of game Star Fox is. They really shouldn't allow people to play it with such astounding mediocrity. It's on them to express their ideas though.

Star Fox Assault Multiplayer was fun, and it is competitive if you don't allow cheating using Arwings, compettitive and Strategic are two seperate things, and I don't consider level grinding to be strategic or competitive

I'd say one level for each kind of vehicle in the Star Fox series, and Jetpacks did add some strategy, but let's limit Jetpacks in multiplayer further by allowing all players to have it from the start.. besides what kind of multiplayer game is purposely not meant to be played at a party?

I meant jetpacks took away some strategy, and jetpacks should be limitted like the Landmaster's hover feature in 64, as well as having a limmited supply of fuel

the cloaking power up was kindof cheaty, but other than that, I see practically no difference in Assault multiplayer and what many call Halo competitive multiplayer, upgrading characters stats based on how often and how long you play isn't competitive, it's a little cheaty for my taste, rewarding players who purchase the bonus packs to upgrade their characters to level 100 by buying the game early

The difference is simple: Acquiring techniques by learning the game. If you can tell me all the nuances that make a Star Gox game, Opposed to just a shooter. By all means, let me know.

Star Fox Assault multiplayer (on foot) is all about learning the enviroment, rather than simply learning attacks.

and adding new "techniques" by "learning the game" is actually not new techniques but increased weapon attack power, easier aiming, they make the game easier for players who are better... it's a highly unbalanced system unless you forfeit enhanced stats when you play with your friends in multiplayer with friends and use a ranking system to prevent players of different skill and power levels from i

It's all about maximizing effiency. Even on foot. That is your technique. Your ability to observe the environment, and maximize your effectiveness. You prove my point. It takes playing star fox to understand what is happening. It's not like Zelda where you get a cookie for delivering milk.

Being able to mix time over hits/ approach gives you many possibilities. This mixture can even cancel out your greatest accomplishments. It's up to you to access the correct action. That's the simple way to put it. Again, you'd have to hone your craft to really bring out it's design. Easily overlooked because everyone assumes to know everything.

so, a competitive would have up to 8 teams of two players on local, up to 3 teams of 8 online, and more team tactics, including Arwing gripping, and requring the throwing away of weapons every so often, but Assault foot only is the best competitive mode for the game
