Does anyone know where a complete list for the items you can craft is located? I've heard this game has more recipes compared to the original PS2 version.

    Recipes are found everywhere in bookshelves and talk to people to get a recipe. Your first recipe, Thief Key recipe is local at the church upper floor in Farebury.

    I recommend not selling any items and trying random combinations. It (the first item) only highlights a second item if it would become 'alchimized.'

    Yeah, I'm checking as many bookshelves as I can find. As well as talking to pretty much everyone I come across. Definitely not selling my items, as there's alot I can use to make stuff. I was more-so asking if anyone knew of a list online someplace. Best I've come across is a list on the Dragon Quest Wiki, but it's probably not up to date for the 3DS.

    It's pretty up-to-date. I checked the wikia, as well and I came to the conclusion, if you want a certain item, you may need the recipe, but you can also guess, as the game will highlight the only other materials that could be alchemized.

    I figured that, too, with highlighting the other items which can be used. Sounds good, then. I'll continue to search out recipes, and use the Wiki at the same time. :) Thanks for the help. ^_^
