What online features does this have?

I noticed the Nintendo Network logo on the box. Is there limited timed items you have to grind 12+ hours through each week just to access them like in VII?

    There is a feature to download items online, but I don't know if its weekly or daily. And there is a way to share and view photo that you take online without spotpass.

    Wish Nintendo would be more helpful. They took away information about which tablets were available on DQ7. I didn't see anything on DQ8 site.
