    Of course it's not a challenge. Before Sun and Moon came out Game Freak mentioned that Generation 7 was going to be a beginner class game. If a challenge is waht you want that's what gen 4-5 is for. Play those games.

    Yes, Sun and Moon had it's complexities, but overall it was kind of similar (difficult wise) to gen 6.

    Lol x and y were not a challenge at all. The champion was a joke to start. Her entire team can be one shotted so easily. Plus you can over level very easily at that castle place if you take the time with a lucky egg plus easy money. X and Y was a bad game overall. ORAS though a remake was better. Steven's a better champion atleast he is sorta apart of the storyline

    Cynthia is still the hardest champion any of the games ever had. Lance could even be arguably as well.
