    Oh boy... IV stand for individual valor, a valor that goes from 0 to 31. It affects each one of the Pokémon base stats (HP, Atk, Def, Spc. Atk, Spc. Def, Speed), the more the valor, the more the power of the base stat. A perfect IV is one of 30–31. They are “random”, but can be changed via breeding.
