I think Breath of the Wild is set somewhere in the Adult Timeline because of Koroks and an item description mentioning "an ancient sea", implying that the flooding of Hyrule happened very long ago.

Bruno... There was an ocean in hyrule's forest areas in skyward sword, and the desert in skyward sword was a ocean. Also Koroks aren't just in the adult timeline, they also can be in other timelines. Koroks aren't evolutions of the kikori. They are another form of them, and they turned into kikori to make ocarina of time link feel more at home in the village.

The reason why I think its in the adult timeline, is because in twilight princess HD, you can see that theres carvings in the walls of hyrule castle. They have the bird men, and the gorons on it. Even kid link was on it. And also in the life in the ruins trailer, theres a ruined castle town that looked like it was the twilight princess one. And in the newest trailer, it looked like the ocarina of
