(Pointless) Pseudo-Rant

Sun & Moon were supposed to basically be the 20th Anniversary games, right? But aside from a ton of decent references, a handful of Alola forms with... varying quality, and a cameo here or there, it doesn't really do anything with the old stuff. Like, why no new evolutions for old Pokemon? Why no new Mega Evolutions? Why did only 7 or so named characters return?

    From what I think I understand, the games were pushing the original model 3DS's pretty close to their limit, that's probably a part of the reason as to why there wasn't much more... I could be wrong, though.

    @10Mario8 Best Pokemon Game Ever, 10/10 @Justin That's true- you can't open Miiverse or Internet Explorer while Sun & Moon is running. But, I don't honestly see that as an excuse.
