    May I ask what size SD card you are using? I never had that happening to me but I'm nervous because I'll have to upgrade soon beyond the recommended size.

    Just letting you know that Micro-SD is reccomended. Im surprised it can fit quite a lot. I also get this message a lot, just go to System Settings> Data Management > Nintendo 3ds > Software and delete some demos or something like that.
