Easy Exp

Want an Easy Liquid Metal Slimes exp so you dont have to beat monsters that are 1000x's slower? Go on the 2nd floor at the Trodian Castle entrance and head to the right side of the door. You must be facing the left part and should step on the third tile line by the door. Rotate your camera in circles slowly so the monsters are able to respawn differently. Get Metal Slash.

    Better yet, If you're hunting metal slimes, get Lightning Thrust for the avatar and/or Executioner for Yangus. 50% chance to miss, 50% chance to One-hit KO the metal slime with a critical hit. The reason metal slimes only take 1 damage is that their defense is in the 4,000s. But critical hits ignore defense entirely, killing them immediately.

    The dragon graveyard and howlwind hill (Its a tall hill with white clouds over it next to rydon's tower) are much better spots for exp farming, but both places aren't accessible til late game. Even more so with the later. Also any high/inaccessible places that requires flight to reach are home to metal slime monsters but they're more common at howlwind hill which is the best spot for exp farming.

    But ya early in the game the riverside chapel and trodain castle locations are the best areas to do early power lvl grinding.

    I just went from level 28 to 46 grindin trodain castle using lightning thrust and executioner, too easy

    Metal slimes can spawn near the entry to the royal hunting ground. Over leveled to lvl 40 to defeat the dark ruins in no time
