Empty Gauge Puzzle Completion Tips

When your gauge is empty, all Reveal Skills can still fill in squares, essentially bypassing the mechanic a bit. However, Hyper Scan and Auto Fix X fill in the gaps so that when used in conjunction with Reveals, can clear multiple puzzles limited by only your Pokémon you've caught.

    Once the Reveal Skill is used, Mark all the other spaces and use Simply use Hyper Scan.

    The amount of spaces that need to be filled are very important to note with your Hyper Scan Pokémon. You're factoring 54 minus Quagsire's Slash Reveal, which is about 40 which Mega Gallade and Medicham provide, hence a completed Puzzle. On to the next.

    Like before, the Reveal is used, but now your "B" button becomes your "win" button. It corrects the Marks and fills the correct squares as you go over them, press B everywhere.

    Again, make sure that the squares these Pokémon fill amount to the total (41) minus any other Reveal you used. You don't actually need a Reveal, it just allows you to get more used out of your Hyper Scans and Auto Fix X's which are few and far between.

    Using a bunch of members, you can actually go further than 10x10 and do 15x15 or even 20x15. This one required 5 members however… also, don't worry about the Mission for Time taken, the Time freezes whenever a Skill is used meaning this took only 1-2 minutes.

    One final thing to note is the Life gauge itself. If you decide to upgrade it, make sure to do it AFTER it's empty, it gives you a free refill which gives you the chance to do more Puzzles straight away.
