  If it makes you feel any better, the same thing happened to me! I did not use kind words when it happened. In either this or 3D World's Champion's Road I later realized that you didn't even have to participate in this portion. There was like a simple walkway that you could follow. You wouldn't get the cool "thank you" but there was no risk of dying either.

  Yes, it actually does. I triggered the Thank You lettering and ran onto it out of reflex, despite having seen the yellow platform. Just when I was on my way back, said platform went off without me ._. The next times (finished it with both characters) I still triggered the switch, but went for the platform RIGHT AWAY without casualties.

  Smart! Smarter than me, LOL! By the time I realized it I no longer needed it. That's the type of luck that I operate on xD Well done! Good work on both 3D Land and 3D World. Those are big accomplishments. I keep an eye on the Miiverse and elsewhere and there aren't many of us that have 100%'d 3D World, let alone both.

  I do have some gaming skill, but sometimes - usually in co-op - I operate on dumb luck lol Really ôô I can understand that people would be thrown off by having to replay everything. Those final levels can be very tricky, but they're doable, if you're dedicated. Doing it in 2P co-op certainly made it easier - WS was better with that switch block thing, while I'm better at that crazy laser part.
