メインラウンド２回戦、古代大学と勝負。１回裏に３点先制、６回裏に１点追加。「はい、余裕～」と思った刹那…７回表まさかの３失点(CPU)＋１失点(自分)で４対４、同点。そして９回表、２点取られ逆転された。血の気が引いた、マジで。しかぁし、その裏執念で同点に追い付き、２連続四球などで２アウト満塁のチャンスを作ると、最後は美園のヒットでサヨナラ！自身初のサヨナラ勝ち！…いやぁ、ヒリヒリする試合だった！掘杉さん、雪野さん、ただのお笑いコンビだと思って、スイマセンでしたぁ！ほらっ、矢部くんも寝っ転がってないで謝れ！
