    I dont think you can soft reset for zygarde or xerneas but i dont know about mewtwo

    I soft resetted so i could catch Mewtwo in a Quick ball, so you can still do that if you want. And if you have ORAS, all but 4 legendaries (Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, and Deoxys) can be shiny hunted

    Wait a minute.... i got a Shiny Mewtwo in a trade today..... (Starts playing Pokemon Sun)....Is it? (Checks Mewtwo's summary) "Seems to have crossed both space and time so meet you from the Kalos Region." But I know mewtwo is shiny locked.... (checks Pokemon gen 6 events) Ok... (sigh)... It was a 2016 event Mewtwo I got.

    Sorry, It's in Pokemon Sun, and you have stated that you only have Pokemon X and that you do not have any plans to get Sun or Moon. Gen 6 and 7 cannot trade with each other. And even if you did have Sun or Moon, I already have Keldeo and Genesect, and Mew has a Z move you would want to keep him for.

    Just so you know, if not for the things i already mentioned, I would TOTALLY trade you for Mew. I personally would rather train up a bunch of cute Pokemon as opposed to using powerful ones, if I had to do one or the other. And it's obvious Mew is cuter than Mewtwo, even if its stats aren't as good (are they?).

    yeah, mewtwo not very cute. the reason i wanted a shiny one is because my dream was to get a shiny Mewtwo with Mewtwonite Y, because it's one of my six all-time fav pokemon: Eevee, Greninja, Rayqauza, Mewtwo, Milotic, and Ninetales.

    If it was 8% I would have boxes of them, it's a 1/8,192 chance of a shiny Mewtwo in Red Blue Yellow Green FireRed LeafGreen HeartGold SoulSilver, other games it's locked
