Screw that, she single handedly assured the death of the Gerudo, and hundreds, if not thousands of others in the great flood due to there not being a hero.

Well really her intent was to reverse the damage Ganondorf had done by sending Link back, which she did, it just ended up being in a different timeline. It's her actions that caused the Child Timeline to exist, which had FAR less hardship than the Adult or Downfall Timelines. So in a way she saved countless lives by allowing them to exist in a more peaceful land.

@Dank MemeH: We really don't know the fate of the Gerudo in the Adult Timeline. They seem absent, but then they seemed absent in the Child Timeline as well until FSA was revealed to be in that timeline. We simply don't have any confirmation on their fate.

As for the flood... Well she really couldn't have known Ganon would return. And since Ganon is the reason the flood was necessary, you really can't say it was "single handedley" done by Zelda. Heck it was the gods responding to those very same innocents peoples prayers that caused the flood. Basically no one single thing can be pointed at as to blame, with the possible exception of Ganon himself.
