  • i'd wait on the controller until its been tested and proven worthy by somone else

  • You don't need the pro controller right away. Joy cons in the grips feel just as good minus a d pad of course.

  • no, i'm not getting more amiibo right now. i have wolf link and OoT link, thats fine for now. but the pro-controller will definately be good. and i WILL eventually have one. i've read several articles from ppl who tried it. they say that its the best way to play the switch and that its the best controller nintendo has ever made.

  • but i think i'll go for street fighter. although a d-pad is good for street fighter. if only i could have both...

I played it at the Switch Tour in NYC. Only game that would be better with a pro controller was ultra street fighter 2 for the D pad. I'm gonna be playing mostly with the joy cons detached and my hands resting at my sides on the couch cause I'm lazy like that.

  • i just like traditional controllers, but yeah the one that comes with it is fine. but i will also want it for the purpose of local multiplayer. u can only play so many games with a single joy-con. one controll stick, four buttons, and shoulder buttons. probably not gonna work for games like minecraft

I'll get an extra pair of joycons for 4 player mario kart. Pretty sure I'll get a pro controller eventually, but that's pretty low on my list.

  • yeah, i dunno, a few ppl i would play street fighter with a really nitpicky about using a real d-pad. personally, i could go either way...
