Miiverse isn't going away anytime soon. Even when Breath of the Wild and the Switch comes out Miiverse will still be here. There's STILL going to be a few Eshop games coming out for the Wii U and the 3ds is still being supported for quite awhile to come. Miiverse still has a couple years or so left in it.
