How good this game is?

I played DQIX on DS but i never played others DQ games. I may consider buying DQ7 and DQ8 depending on how good the game is.

    Crazy good, DQ7 takes a while to get into, but DQ8 is a blast from start to finish.

    I am admitedly a very biased judge of this game's quality, as it holds a very special place in my early childhood. However, I have heard many others say that it's one of the best games (or THE best depending on who you ask) in the series.

    Dragon Quest 8 is the best. If you liked DQ9 you'll love DQ8. They both play very similar but 8 is all offline. The world is really big and there are loads of different things to see and do. The story is top notch and has a lot of memorable characters with funny dialog and great voice acting. This game has it all.
