    The Legend of Zelda is the best because it invents new ways to play. For example, the original Zelda invented the loadout menu. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward sword made it so you could swing the sword any way you want with one hand, and with the other hand, you could bash the shield into enemy's faces. Unrelated: Nintendo invented the D-pad, Thumbstick, shoulder buttons, and the four-button layout.
