spoilers: it should look like this map. First: hold the right analog mouse and rotate the map left to right half clockwise. [until see a metal king slime] avoid encounters with rest of the monsters and focus only the metal king slimes.

spoilers: holding the right analog, makes the camera dungeon map not rotating in a random angle. so it's hold right analog, rotate dungeon map camera at the same time.

spoilers: now to make it very easy, level skill with the main Hero's spear till he learns the lightning thrust [level 7 skill] which gives a critical chance to the metal king slime. Also equip a spear to initiate the skill. Have all 4 party members auto battle to 'show no' under tactics to save time with leveling up. [cont.]

spoilers: [level 8 lightning thrust, typo] and same for Yangus, level his axe skills until he can auto-battle critical hits to the metal king slimes for a chance to support with the main hero. Metal king slimes often flee around the 1st or 2nd round depends on random battles etc. But give over 30,000 exp. most exp. if familiar with the series best monster throughout the game and very easy too.

spoilers: lastly, to resume often save game progress in the dungeon. That wraps up my walkthrough hint guide for beginners. And, yes, it's possible to be level 99 in the late beginning of the game, before Red joins the team [which is the middle part of the game until post end game]
