It's a great game but forking over 8000+ Rupees to get maps deciphered on GC was really annoying

1. Slow sailing in the original 2. Collecting rupees for Tingle to decipher maps 3. The Wind Temple.... hate that place

1. Lack of engaging dungeons (I did like the Tower of the Gods and the Earth Temple, though) 2. Triforce Shard hunting (better in the remake, but still a bit obnoxious) 3. Uneven collectible distribution (Even if it is the game's equivalent of Castle Town, Windfall Island should not have eight Pieces of Heart, nine Treasure Charts, and the starting point of nearly every sidequest!)

I absolutely love Wind Waker! One of my favorites. Regardless, I like thinking critically about things, and I can think of three things I strongly dislike about the game (continued below)

1) Lack of explanation/direction for the Triforce quest. I actually enjoy exploring the world and finding the secrets contained in this segment, but it's so poorly explained that hardly anybody gets through this part without the internet. It's just a little sloppy in execution.

2) Lack of dungeons. I actually love just about every dungeon in the game, but the amount feels....sparse. There should have been a dungeon for the third pearl between the Forbidden Forest and the Tower of the Gods. And there should have been one more dungeon either before/after the triforce quest and the final segment in Hyrule.

3) Tetra getting sidelined as soon as she becomes Zelda. Seriously, Tetra was one of the coolest incarnations of Zelda EVER. Sassy, a strong leader, funny, and unique (a freaking pirate!). But as soon as she discovers that she's Zelda (which admittedly, was cool), she's not allowed to do anything and gets kidnapped until the final fight (where she does help a little bit, but still).

Pretty much what V said. Although for me the problem with sailing was more due to the actual sailing mechanics. I felt the longer time to travel places immersed me in how vast the ocean was. But the actual sailing controls felt sluggish to me.

Tri Frocw Fetch Quest, Didn't have enough to explore in my opinion, and I really didn't like how the NPCs exaggerated how scary the ghost ship was.

1. The art style of the character models, but I'm fine with the cel shade texture. 2. Triforce Shard hunt. 3. Some islands lack variety. But that's my personal preference.

The only thing I hate about the Wind Waker is Forsaken Fortress 1. Why? Because you lose your sword there and it land next to the boss door, and you try to make it up there without getting seen by spotlight or Moblin. If one of those see you, you get thrown in jail. And you have to find a secret exit to break out.
