Miiverse isn't really dead yet...it's just hanging on by a thread is what I feel. Only the faintest heartbeat remains in the Zelda Community. Many users have decided to leave...such decisions cannot be stopped for we have no control over people's decisions. Just smile and respect their choice.

  • Yeah, there are still people here but a lot of people have left. Its a shell of its former self.

  • Mankind need not fear change, merely respect it. Nothing great was ever created without the destruction of something old. When Miiverse finally does die, know that the community of Nintendo gamers has not perished, and we will all meet again in another time and place.

  • Ya can't really blame people. The 2 main communities that aren't redesigned are spam ridden and, false reporter central. I'm not even sure why I came back... Bored I guess.

  • It's just a bittersweet feeling, Matteo. Once the Switch is released, this place will probably have few users in it. But one thing is for certain, I will never forget the kindness and the support you have all shown me while I was being bullied. Ya'll sacrificed your posts to defend and comfort me...and I'll never forget that.

  • Cocolila, that is what friends do. You know, I used to not truly understand friends. But here, I found a haven of similar people. Here, the outside world matters not and hope prospers. And that is what friendship is about, protecting each other from the dangers of the world. In the year I have been here, I made many friends I will never forget. Let us ride out the end, together. As Pokemon X...

  • and Y wrote, "In our brief lives, we've managed to meet. Treasure this gift, this precious time we have". I know I will treasure Miiverse and all the users that made up its unique group.

  • Besides, now that I think about it...I don't think Miiverse isn't really that safe anymore either. We've had some run ins with internet intruders and they've already caused a bunch of trouble in the community already. People also need to feel safe and secure coming here too. We may have a Code of Conduct, but some users are willing to bend it for their own amusement.

  • This is exactly how it should be. Just respect others choices! it's not that hard!

  • I have said it before, but I say that I think the Zelda community need more interesting posts, which are something we loyal users can provide :-). I do wish I could contribute more, but due to the kind of work I do with news posts, it is kind of hard as well as that I am in some private discussions. Still, I do try to do the Zelda community a bit better with what little posting I do ^^.

  • Dark times are indeed upon us, but that is no reason to give up. I saw a painting that explains our position. It was a Rembrandt depicting the founders of Amsterdam. He depicted them old, and battle scarred. They created the place with strength and persistence. It was not easy. Same here. This place was not easily created and it isn't totally ideal, but we created it and it is our home.
