Question

Best monsters to use to get morrie?

Since i found out that you can get morrie after beating S rank and only after beating evil jessica i wanna know ... best monsters to use to get him right after i get to that point? after defeating evil jessica Btw im fine with spoilers cause i played the PS2 game ... never beat it and never beat sir leopold so never fought rapthorne

I'd recommend using a team of Skeledoid, Octurion, and Steropes. Skeledoid is a powerful hitter who can attack twice per turn, and can also put enemies to sleep with each attack. Octurion has access to Fullheal and Zing, which makes him one of the best available healers. (Although he tends to forget he's a healer...) And Steropes can use desperate attacks, which handles the Metal Slime.

As far as where they can be found: Skeledoid is Southeast of the Dark Ruins, Octurion is on the beach Southeast of Argonia, and Steropes is on the beach that's West of Princess Minnie's Castle.

The only issue you'd really come across with this stratagy is when Octurion forgets that he's the team healer, instead attacking and Multithrust-ing enemies... I actually have grown a resentment for Octurion, as he does this so often. (at least for me...) Despite this, Octurion is still the best bet, as the only other viable healer is Curer, who doesn't have Zing and dies very easily...

You have to beat Monster Arena Rank B for Steropes, Octurion, and Skeledoid to appear on the map. You can get Curer to appear earlier by beating Rank F according to this bradygames guide but I couldn't see him anywhere--maybe they changed it for the 3DS or maybe I just missed him. I found him later in the game while I was backtracking.

I managed to clear it 2nd try with Talos, Skeledoid and Curer. Curer died the first time, but had great evasion luck afterwards XD. Octurion is probably a safer option, though. I just didn't find him till afterwards. Talos can be found on the Isle of Neos, a small island near the middle of the world with Gold Golems and a town with a huge statue. Think you need to clear Rank B for him to show up.

I can confirm that Talos requires Rank B to show up, And Curer can actually show up in two different locations. He's either behind the Chapel near Rydon's tower, or he's in the forest directly north of Arcadia. Luckily, both of these are within walking distance, unlike other monsters with multiple locations... (Mettable, I'm looking at you...)

Thank you all of you! =D Right now i have Capers, Hackzilla, and Potbelly ... im not sure if this team is strong enough to beat rank C and rank B as i just beat rank D

For beating Rank B I'd recommend replacing Potbelly with Dumbking. His name might seem discouraging, but he always works for me up until rank B. Anyway, he's found in this spot Southeast of Argonia.

Yeah just got dumbking I attempted Rank B with Dumbking, Goldman, and Talos but ether im unlucky or i need to be at least Level 30 or so

Rank B is a major difficulty spike compared to the earlier ranks. Beating Ranks B and onward will require a bit of luck... I looked up more viable monsters, and Bladewolf is another good candidate. The problem is that he's a pain to track down. (He appears on an island that doesn't even show up on the world map...)

I got bladewolf ... he isn't a pain to beat but a pain to get to Also you know a good place to level up my party cause im nowhere near level 30 for the dhoulmagus fight

Right outside the Royal Hunting Grounds you can find large groups of up to 8 Metal Slimes, so you can get about 3000-4000 EXP per battle of you're lucky. Trodain's Liquid Metal Slimes would seem like a better option at first, as they give more EXP, but they are also a VERY rare spawn in there. This actually makes it a much slower stratagy...

Thanks! Metal slimes are extremely annoying cause of the run away ability but they have very little HP so well planned attacks can end them pretty easily I encountered Liquid Metal Slimes but they run away before i can even get a hit in ... i hate metal monsters XD

There's a little trick you can do with the camera to change enemies that spawn in an area or room. Use L and R to look around, and monsters will disappear and switch to something else. I used this to get Liquid Metal Slimes to show up more often in Trodain Castle. Seems to work best in the upper floors.

If you have the skills Thunder Thrust and/or Hatchet Man (which upgrade into Lightning Thrust and Executioner) Metal Slimes are much easier to kill as they die in one hit to the move's constant Criticals. Sadly, you don't have access to them unless the Avatar is proficient in Spears or Yangus is proficient in Axes. Metal Slash and Falcon Slash are the best options otherwise...
