Calling other people 'kid'

I use it a lot on Miiverse. Anyone who takes offence from it is likely just another special snowflake who needs to up their self-esteem. If I used a curse word against you I'd understand why you'd be upset but getting annoyed over 'kid'? If I'm using it then it means you're acting like a child. Even worse if you're not one. Kids these days...
