One movie I'll never get tired of watching is "Duel" From 1971. This truly symbolizes the true terror on the road, be careful and don't release your road rage. I love this movie for the reasons being. 1: Came out in the 70's, a glorious time. 2: Makes you feel anxious of what's going to happen next. 3: Very nicely done plot. 4 The Cars, Cmon, who doesn't love that 1971 Plymouth Vailant?!

  • I love Duel. But the Valiant was underpowered. Out of the 3 cars (they were actually '70-'72 models), it has a 225 Slant Six I6, despite one had a 318 V8. The rusty tanker was an upgraded 1955 Peterbilt 281. The funny thing is it's smaller than it looks with its load. Only one truck survived. I don't know if any of the cars survived the film or not. I don't like the parts when the car crashed...

  • @Little, Yes, I believe they chose the slant six because back then it was just an everyday car. This is clever for the reason that if they used a HEMI or 440 in such a little car, it would have eluded the peterbilt extremely quickly. It only served as a getting from point A to point B. I would have included the Peterbilt but I ran out of space. Just a fantastic movie
