That awkward moment when you're staring off into space, lost in thought… and then somebody of the opposite gender steps into the space you're staring at, and you don't realize until they see you staring at them and give you a nervous smile. Even when I'm doing nothing, I cause awkward moments.

I'd wear that every day! Though I think most of the people I interact with have pieced that together by now. =P

I usually just keep stating and never acknowledge their existence. Or just be careful where I stare.

Who has time to remain conscious of the object of your stare when you're contemplating life's most profound curiosities? No, I shall stare wherever happenstance dictates. But just staring is a good plan, I usually give an apologetic smile back.

@Jaime: By that point there's probably been a good deal of peculiarity already, wouldn't you say? Especially if it's somebody you've been awkward around before. @Jannie: Yes! Your fellow awkwardians are assembled here. @Secret: He laughed? I can't blame him. I probably would've too. ...No offense.

One time, I was out eating food with my family, and I was really tired, so my eyes just kinda went unfocused and I was too lazy to refocus them. Then, a teenage guy, probably a year or so older than me, sits at the empty table I was staring at with his friends, and I didn't even realize it because I was too busy in dreamworld. (1/2)

So, my older brother, (whom is SUPER protective, might I add), takes notice that I'm "staring" at a human being of the opposite gender, and immediately starts freaking out, which causes said guy to also take notice that I'm accidentally staring... yeah, this is my life.

What I'm about to tell you is an awkwardly true story, I was sitting in class in the 5th grade, I closed my eyes moved my hand slighty, and attempted to use the force, when I looked up my teacher was just standing there, with her hands in a position like mine.

Hah! That's hilarious, Ray. The only thing that'd make it more so would be if you freaked your brother out more by acting like you really were interested in that guy, maybe trying to flirting with him from across the room… It'd have alleviated awkwardness, at least. ProfAwesome, use the Force! I can totally see that happening. I used to have a fighting instructor who was the same way...

Ha! That'll be me at school. You may not think it, but I'm actually a bit shy. ESPECIALLY AROUND GIRLS! Sigh...why do I do these things. I've gotten better over the years, but that'll be me in school.

@Ed™:I was thinking of your post earlier and how I said I would love it if there were a shirt that said "I breathe awkward" and I made a drawing of someone wearing the shirt.XDIt's nothing special just a plain T-shirt with the words on it but I thought it was pretty funny.:)

@Noah: Really? No, I wouldn't have guessed… You'll break that barrier once you spend a little time in public school, I'm sure. Maybe the same will happen for me next year in college… @Jacob: What's what? @Jasama: Can't translate! Oof. I'll assume it reads "Wow Ed™, your stories are so inspiring! Thank you for existing, O wise one!" And this isn't Charcho Chain, if you're wondering.

@Secret: Hah! That's a good drawing. Yes, I'd definitely wear that shirt... @Ray: Have fun! ...And, uh, don't send him back here when he demands to know why you'd have done that. Please?
