I remember when I first got to play Ranked Battles. Back in those days they were working on including Ranked Battles about 2 weeks after I decided to train via Turf Wars (I was a scrub back then) and there was only Splat Zones for that mode (the others weren't included until a few months later). Anyway I just got to level 10 and my weapon of choice at the time was the Squelcher. Anyway I got out

of the Cs and got straight to the Bs faster than anyone (no one bothered to use recon back then, I was the only one that did it and still do it). Of course, the squids there are a lot tougher and thanks to my new set of weapons (Splash-o-matic for Splat Zones, Aerospray RG for Tower Control, and Splattershot Jr. for Rainmaker), I finally got to S Rank and never have to do Ranked Battles anymore.

I also hated the clothes they gave us when we were starting up, it made us look like we were running a marathon or something. Fortunately when Fall came 2 years ago I got the gear for the Aquatic Defense Force, which makes us look like we were in the Navy, but it beats what I had to wear when I was a scrub. I also had enough money to buy the newest gear the shopkeepers have to offer in season.

Also I find it veeeery interesting that he chose the exact same outfit that Grimm had... ovo I'm a bit concerned to what that might cause to happen in the future. xD

Yeah I remember when Rainmaker was first introduced on Ranked Battles. No one knew what to do with the Rainmaker and I was the only one out of the entire field that knew where the Rainmaker goes and that's only because I did Recon BEFORE going head first just to have a feel on what it's like. Maybe Grim and the other scrubs should learn how to use Recon when it comes to unfamiliar territory.
