Top 5 Favorite Dragon Ball Openings

Dragon Ball has some pretty great openings & here are my 5 favorites based music & visuals. All series are welcome (Original, Z, GT, & Super) except DBZ: Abridged since I'm sticking with official stuff as well as any version (Japanese or English). I'll discuss each pick counting down to #1 & feel free to leave your thoughts or favorites as well!

Good list! Though, which "Original Dragon Ball intro are you talking about? The Japanese version, the English version, or "Gotta Find that Dragon Ball"? Also, which version of GT are you talking about; the Japanese version of the Western GT rap?

Nice, I prefer the English version of Dragon Ball's intro for the reasons stated previously. I'm surprised you didn't include "Rock the Dragon" since most Dragon Ball dub fans love that one or have great nostalgia for it.

I personally am not that big a fan of it. I like the instrumental, but hate the redundant lyrics & the visuals taken straight from Dragon Ball Z's movies that have nothing to do with the show. Compare that to the epic Cha-La-Head-Cha-La intro Japan got, and I can't help but feel we got a lazier intro.

My enjoyment of it is manly because of my nostalgia over it, But at the same time it's a guilty pleasure of mine

Yeah, I'm sure it's fine, but I'm just really into intros to stuff in terms of music & visuals & Cha-La-Head-Cha-La was really good & I don't see why they didn't just give us that or a translated version.

It's a mystery even today, And was america getting anime with the original intro's intact?

Nowadays, anime seems to do a lot better with this in dubs either just giving us the same intro the Japanese get or doing their best to translate it, so that's good. Also, I got the Fortune Cookie episode in Star Vs. The Forces of Evil & "On the Run" for Steven Universe, pretty big developments in both.

I'm curious to see where his character goes & he already seems like a much better villain. I'm glad they are starting to divide the focus amongst characters rather than just Star whose cheerful randomness is better in smaller doses. I honestly think the episodes where Marco is the lead are better than Star's. Lastly, my favorite episode so far is the Blood Moon Ball.

Told ya this is the part where the series picks up on story and character development, And speaking of which toffee's characteristics mannerisms are based on christian bale's performance as the main character from american psycho, And you'll see a lot more of him later, As for blood moon ball what did you like most about it?

Thanks! I'm glad I stuck with Star Vs. despite half the season being a mixed bag, it's kind like RWBY where I just had to stick around for the elements that were strong & hope the weaker ones improved & both did. I liked that Star finally showed more character depth with being strict with Johnny? & calling out Marco in the end, the visuals of the Underworld were handled really well. Cont...

...I liked the gothic atmosphere & use of red light/crystals, the comedy from the Therapy guy & the dead horse was hilarious, & Star & Marco admittedly are cute together (that hurts a bit to say...). Overall, it was well-paced, great-looking, funny, & offered some character development for the leads.

Yeah even a show like this needs to find it's own identity or else it will be overshadowed by it's quirkiness, At times said quirkiness reminds me a bit of earthbound styled humor, And i'm glad it's finally warming up to you now, My favorite episode of season would have to be mewdependence day, Great episode!

Yeah, but unfortunately it got overshadowed by Steven Universe today. Having a mysterious new Gem with an unknown plan & the intense confrontation of Amethyst & her past were amazing! Steven Universe is getting insanely good!

It's best to keep faith in a series no matter how uncertain it may be, But unfortunately i'm out of posts and today i didn't have much time to talk but i'll talk about more things with you tomorrow, I was in a conversation much earlyer and it ate up most of my posts and remember i'll return with more of my thoughts are usual, See you tomorrow
