Nintendo Switch BANNED on US flights! Ok.. not exactly only the Switch but all electronic devices larger than a cell phone will be banned on flights in and entering the US for fear of terrorist activity! They outright state gaming devices, cameras, laptops, portable DVD/Blu-Ray players! etc. So there goes tabletop Switch playing on flights in the US or even using the 3DS etc!

    U.K. also banning these devices as well, the gaming devices being banned have to be bigger then a cell phone so tablets, the Switch etc. would be definately affected, the 3DS might be able to sneak through but the 3DS XL won't pass. If you take these items with you, they have to be in "checked" baggage until you land! The bans are on certain airlines & on non-stop flights coming into US!

    That stinks. thankfully we always drive places, so i can take my 2ds. That does stink though. But, like a parent with the child, i guess, they just want everyone to be safe. Prevent another 9/11 kinda thing. Its a smart move, though it does stink like a big pile of hinox dung wrapped in a bokoblin corpse.

    Yes, we are safe in Canada for now with this ban but Canadian airlines are wondering if they might have to change their policy where they also fly into the US alot! So it's the US & U.K. for now & only on certain airlines. And yes, even with the checked bag policy, there are still concerns with the devices being in storage under the plane as well!

    Well don't forget it's only the U.S. & U.K. for now so playing games on planes going into other countries is still fine. Also the battery exploding issue is not the only issue, the deal is packing the electronics with explosives & detonating them using the "electric" switches. They sort of dealt with this issue before by simply asking certain passengers to "prove" their device works! If not...
