How interesting: one of my co-workers, who was previously skeptical that Breath of the Wild would live up to the hype, is actually very interested to play it after watching a Let's Play of the game. I told him about my experience with it, and he got a laugh. That reminds me, I need to get the Platinum in Tales of Berseria already so that I can play more of it.

    Some watch them for gameplay assistance. Some watch to get a better idea of the game. Others, like myself, watch them for the commentary, which in and of itself can be extremely entertaining.

    Had a feeling you were around the same age if not older if you considering you brought it up as generational. Still, if Let's Plays pique the interests of those unsure to where they're willing to try it, there has to be some place on Youtube for them.

    Different things appeal to different people. If it's not game related, the Youtube videos I watch are about animals.
