    Nintendo. Whilst I'm not a big fan on most of their games, I do love the mario franchise.

    I'm just holding out for the day Nintendo doesn't have hardware limitations and we can actually see all these devs bring their titles to Nintendo hardware. The Joy Cons could add cool elements to the GTA's, Last Of Us and Red Deads of the world. I don't see how any system could compete against Nintendo IPs AND all those 3rd party AAA titles. It'd be "game over" for the other systems

    Frank once we hear what Scorpio is all about and hopefully they drop the XB1 S console price as I mentioned before then I'm all in. Between Switch and XB1 S i'm good!

    BTW..does anyone recall the late Iwata stating Nintendo was actively pursuing mergers and acquisitions ? It was when the Wii U was really struggling and Nintendo was considering their options to expand their reach. Maybe them acquiring DeNA was the sole result of that.

    I should know more of the developers first and last names' beside the Big 3 at Nintendo. They are all rock stars to me! I treat video games very similar to movies. If I like the director/developer I tend to pay the cost for admission without knowing too much beforehand. Koji Igarashi I'm looking at you. You are my Tim Burton. With Mighty Number 9 I betrayed myself and Keiji Ina.

    Forgot about Ubisoft....sure I don't like their buggyness but Siege is one of my Sons favorite games..& though the online was a train wreck splinter cell blacklist was great! Also really enjoyed my first Creed...3 & it's awesome Dlc. They could have made a super hero game starring Connor easily after that. Very good stuff. Plus, buggy as they are their stories have rich detail & historically

    It's a pretty consistent mix of devs from North American and Japan, really tells our gaming preferences. I'll add WB as I liked their Batman games. Grasshoper!! Suda 51s brain is melted and I love it!

    I don't think 1 person even listed Activision! Everyone is COD'd out. I would cry if 2K ever made another NFL game. Nobody mentions NHL games lol...maybe they only get played in Canada

    I think very few like activision for their lack of care in each of their franchises. Think about it, they release a new title for each franchise every year, and they are pretty much the same game now. Activision added Crash & Spyro in Skylanders, they even made microtransactions for the CoD franchise. They make as many gimmicks as they can aslong as they get that $$$.

    As much as we're all clamouring for a new Metroid, I wouldn't be surprised if Retro Studios is cooking up something new. I think they've had enough experience re-working existing Nintendo IP, I'd be all for them creating their own IP. They've been too quiet for too long to only be working on 1 project.
