Riddle

2 fathers and their 2 sons go fishing. They each catch 1 fish, when they were arriving home, they didn't lose any fish and when they got home they only had 3 fish, how come?

Technical the grandfather was a father because he had a son which the father and he had a son which was the grandson of the grandfather.

If the grandfather isn't a father because he's a grandfather,wouldn't that mean that the father wouldn't be son because he's a father.
