2 Questions to Ask

1) How would you have your profile name to be put on your new 3ds from your old 3ds and not have a same profile on both of them? 2) If I remove my sd card from a 3ds and put it into another 3ds, would I still have everything that I saved (software, dlc, posts, etc.)?

    1) i think you can just change it in the settings afterwards? 2) it would be on the new 3ds, however not on the old one. it's because all your data is saved on your SD card! so your games will work on any 3ds you put the card in.
