my girlfriend is into cosplay and anime i dont know much about ether can somebody let me know what its about so i can try to understand?

    Cosplay= Costume + playing. It's dressing up as fictional characters. Anime= Animation, especially of Japanese origin,

    Well, you can cosplay as any fictional character really, it's not restricted to anime. Basically cosplay is when you dress up as a character from something. My old friend Matthew made a awesome Steven Universe cosplay once. Just think of it as dressing up on Halloween, except it's not Halloween and you can do it whenever (people usually do this at events such as Comiccon, or sometimes Vidcon)

    Cosplaying is like dressing up for halloween, but your costume is decent - awesome and it's not halloween. You also act like the character. Example: If I cosplayed as a Pokemon trainer, I would dress up like one, have a pokeball or something and say Pokemon phrases like "Go! Pikachu!" or something like that.

    Yeah, you and your girl could cosplay as maybe a couple from a video game or something! And Vidcon is where a lot of YouTubers have panels (basically live events their fans can go to), and there are booths there where you can get merchandise from video games or try out demos. Comiccon is similar, but instead of YouTube it's comics.
