Can you not make just a normal console like every other company? Jeez, I mean seriously. Anyone else agree with me?

    Then they wouldn't stand out. Originality is the base for many Nintendo things. Without it they would be just another bland, boring, run of the mill company.

    Yeah, Nintendo is original. The Switch is portable which is a big feature in consoles. Also, Nintendo tends to mix the features of their old consoles into a wonderful new one.

    The Nintendo Switch perfectly shows that. Portable from 3DS, Looks from the Wii U gamepad, and you get Nintendo Switch.

    Companies like Sony aren'the original. They make basic home consoles that will get boring very quickly. I read an article Sony plans to make something like the Switch. My conclusion is, being original makes it more exciting to use.

    Nintendo makes very unique consoles, Sony & Microsoft either copy Nintendo or just stick with a kind of N64/PS/Sega Cd era of consoles with realistic graphics, also Nintendo isn't trying to be a rival, they just go the other direction, which is the right thing, they're doing

    No. If Nintendo made an ordinary console then of course, it'd be nothing special and just ignored most of the time by the (I hate to admit it but) technically superior PS4.5 and Xbox One. Even Sony and Microsoft know this since they've been trying to change things up as well (PS4VR and more on the way and Microsoft with that Project Scorpio or something like that).
