So I'm new to this game and I'm hoping someone could help me. I want to get a large barn but I don't want to lose the 2 cows I already own. I also don't think I have enough room. So my question is, how will this work?

    Clear out as much space as you can, buy the barn and place it. Then, simply transfer your cows. Afterwards, put your mini-barns back into the Bench.

    Also, if you don't have anything on your fields, store them in your Bench as well to make room. Once you've placed your bigger barn, you can rearrange around it however you desire.

    That works the same for everything. You can't even put away a Silo without removing the stuff in it first, so keep it in mind for future rearrangements!
