unoriginal ocs

is it just me, or do most of the ocs on miiverse seem all the same? dark clothing, abnormal eye colours, special powers, bland personality, etc

    There are a variety of reasons that Original Characters are so unoriginal(pardon the oxymoron) The Creators:I'll be frank-it's hard to find a good Roleplayer these days-whether they're freakishly unoriginal,overpowered,or just plain boring and unrelatable,it's usually the creators lack of creativity Low Turnouts:A lot of Rps are plagued with this problem-miiversian rp'ers are a dying race

    The Post Limit:Unless you want a roleplay with dozens of parts,it's amazingly difficult to begin character development with the 100 comments per post limitation a especially in action-related roleplays.I myself actually fall into this category-it's hard to avoid an Rp going inactive when people eventually lose interest after a while.
