You can post whatever you want, but if it violates the terms, don't get upset when it gets deleted

  • @Atrocity: Let's just go with all of them. @Cinnabun: Reported a post of mine that in no way violated the CoC. @Zom: I don't think I've truly ever violated the terms. Children on here are just report happy.

  • I can't remember fully, I was sort of in a fog at the time. But I think it was something about me thinking about possibly coming out to my mom. I've made mention of stuff like that in the past, and never once got reported for it.

That could technically fall under as a violation of the conduct, I can't precisely say because the rules are terribly vague Wording matters too - if you spoke concisely about it (there are a few trigger words I won't mention) than it's more likely to get deleted, as opposed to if you implied it Just keep in mind: This is a children's site. The admins are hypersensitive because they have to be-->

-->so if you want to stay 100% safe, just don't mention anything that is touchy or controversial or even be perceived as touchy or controversial. I know what you mentioned may not seem anything of the sort, but again, the admins are trying to prevent anything that may cause any kind of controversy.

  • I'll try to be a little more cautious in the future, but with how hypersensitive the admins are pretty much just about anything can set them of. Not to mention the fact people on here don't know how to take a joke.

Yeah, that's just how the admins roll. It's unfortunate, but this is still technically a kid's site. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don't know why Nintendo didn't split the site into two sections for the older and younger. It would make sense, since they've been trying to market their products toward older audiences, but Nintendo is extremely stubborn in their practices.

Plus, T-M rated games. Doesn't make sense that you can play a game, but can't post about it on a site specifically made for posting about it.

  • True. Splitting the site would make more sense as well, but it's hard to do because so many people lie about their age.

That's the fault of the parents, not Nintendo. All Nintendo can do is say "Hey, this part of the site is for x and older." If someone specifically states that x is not meant for group y and that if group y interacts with x it could cause trouble, and that all responsible for group y should take responsibility for group y's actions because group y cannot be held accountable for their own actions-->

(in this specific context, because of age) yet those responsible for group y failed to do their duty, it is not the fault of those who warned those responsible for group y about x, but those responsible for group y's actions. Man, that was a lengthy analogy
