ok so I've been wanting to change his tattoo designs for a while now because first of all everytime I draw him they're a different design and secondly they dont mean jack squat to him and thirdly tribal tattoos look good on paper but irl they just look straight up hhHHH LAME ↓

    like hes been around for about 3 ½ years and i still havent officially settled on a design everytime i draw his arms/leggies i just totally wing it and then it ends up looking eh and ive been avoiding making him a reference sheet for his tatts like the damn plague lmao i used to love tribal tattoos and draw them all the time in 7th grade but i mean after seeing them on people they really just loo

    -k lame plus theyre pretty well known for looking like trash and the only people who get them are like 'aw yeAH IM COOL LOOK I GOT A TATT' and its just hhhhhh also like i said they mean absolutely nothing to him and granted tattoos dont always have to mean something but cmon hes a damn professional tattoo artist why the hell would his body be covored in something that 'just looks cool' -

    so hes gotta have at least some that are meaningfull and about that reference sheet, yeah i would love to give these crazy complex and intricate tattoo designs like mandalas n stuff but i do nOT want to draw that mess everytime i draw him because itll make me dread drawing him but at the same time i dont want something too simple and ugh sO im kinda walking on a thin line

    so anyway to the damn point I've been thinking i could give him some blackwork tattoos but not to where his whole damn limb is black because those tend to look like someone just colored it with a black marker and it looks green- or maybe a combination of blackwork and tribal (but just dippin me toe in the tribal) bUT maybe itll look more geometric than the last ones idk its still pretty broad but

    hmm that sounds like you are having a lot of problems the design that you have been drawing really fitted on te character he could have a lot of snakes tatooed on his body, they are related to the character and quite simple to draw and ahh, thinking it... it would be cute if he had a double X somehwere, I mean, Rigel is an important person for him and he is a tatoo artist idk just ideas

    @M:: yeah i was thinking of putting a big ol snake wrapping around one leg that kinda represents his snake Nanner so that might be a possibility and i was planning on giving him something that symbolizes Rigel without just sticking his name on him ;v; @K: i totally would give him roses but i also have several ocs with rose tattoos already :'D but i may find another flower
