how to beat tentacle boss?!

I have tried to beat it numerous times but it kills me still. any tips?

    Make sure you have all the best armor and weapons equiped. Give everyone lots of herbs too. Then I have the hero heal every single turn while Yangus raises his tension about 3 times and then attacks. If all else fails, go fight monsters around town to raise your levels some more. Even doing this there's still luck. Sometimes that boss fight just goes bad. Keep trying.

    Khalamari uses an attack pattern of Fire→Single→Group. After a group attack he'll single attack so make sure you constantly heal yourself and Yangus and maybe defend on group attacks for both players. Try to raise Yangus's tension when you have a chance, cause that'll help too. Don't worry, I also had a hard time, I think I was able to beat him on my second try.
