When you unlock the tougher missions, you realize you can't save for stuff like the rarity 8 sword or lvl 3 vigor codex because each mission is 32+ gem apples. :/

it gets worse from there. you will see when you beat the tougher missions... but basically, you will be using 100-200 apples to open the last few stages from what I heard.
